Defending NBA champions LA Lakers and Eastern Conference champion Orlando Magic will face each other for the first time since they met in the Finals last season. Though, not totally healthy, the Lakers is still look poised to defend their NBA title while Orlando Magic is struggling and aren't playing like they're capable of creating a finals rematch. Lakers will face a different Magic team who traded Hedo Turkoglu for Vince Carter with the Raptors. Magic lost six of their last eight games including a 102-87 loss to the Trailblazers. Magic look to end their four-game trip with a win at Staples Center.
Meanwhile, Lakers look to continue its home dominance against Magic. The Lakers have won 17 of their last 18 home games overall, improving to a league-best 22-3 at home. They defeated the Magic in both meetings at Staples in the finals. Lakers will have a complete line up entering this game after Pau Gasol has returned from a hamstring injury. Gasol missed the season's first 11 games with another hamstring injury. Will the Lakers continue its home dominance against the Magic?
