NBA will hold its first Slam Dunk-In during the halftime of the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam on Friday, Feb. 12. The Dunk-in will be a one-round slam dunk-in contest that will determine the 4th spot for the 2010 Sprite Slam Dunk competition.The participants will have two dunks each, with a two-minute time limit to complete each dunk.The winner will determined by the fans through voting via SMS text messages or voting in NBA.com during the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam. Voting will start as the event begins and will close two minutes after the final dunk of each participants.
NBA All-Star Slam Dunk-In participants will be announced by TNT on-air during NBA Tip-Off presented by AutoTrader.com on Thurs., Jan 14, at 8 p.m. ET. The first three contestants in the Sprite Slam Dunk will be announced on Monday, Jan. 18. Sprite Slam Dunk is a part of the NBA All-Star 2010 that will takes place at Dallas on Feb 11-14, 2010.
